The Role Of The Family In Society
In societies, families are always excepted to last for long enough and create an understanding and caring environment for children. The situation of the family, whether economically or socially, is very important for the children’s development.
Family is the first place where children get the chance to learn basic things, such as social or moral values, the world, maybe writing and reading. Parents try to teach their children the ideas which suit them best, they never think of teaching something else that they don’t believe or trust. This may lead to confusion and dilemma in children’s thoughts as they are always thought in a way that sole one thing is true, and others are not. As this kind of learning may lead to problems, parents have to teach their children in a more controlled and objective way.
Society expects parents to teach, feed, protect and offer a good live for their children. And parents try to chieve these expectation as well as they can. They send their children to good schools, try to ensure that they get educated well and send them to good colleges as they want their children to be successful and happy in their own lives.
Sometimes, parents can be more thoughtful or protective than usual. They can repeat words that their children don’t wanna hear or they can make long speeches about life, schools, lessons, friends etc. But, i think, they do these as they want the best for their children all the time.

So do you think it is a good idea for parents to only teach their children about their own beliefs rather than all possible beliefs. Might it not be preferable to each children that their are all these different beliefs- we believe x, but it is for you to make your own decision about them- e.g. religion, politics, sexuality, etc.
