We hear there were albums which sold millions of copies worldwide. This era is over and artists know it, so they should focus on giving concerts which is more profitable. And i think punishing people is not a good thing to do, maybe there should be some preview versions of songs on the Net, and if you like it maybe you will pay and buy it. As you have said yourself artists suffer financially- is it fair that they create something only to have other people 'steal' it- but then again you didn't say anything about fairness did you?
